4bia is a series of horror movies, released in 2008. 4bia comprises 4 different stories by 4 different directors. The latter are Youngyooth Thongkonthun, Banjong Pisanthanakun, Parkpoom Wongpoom and Paween Purikitpanya.
Synopsis / Plot:
1. The first story, "Happiness", is directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun and called Ngao (or Loneliness) in Thai:
This story is about a woman who has to stay home as she has an injured leg and as she is bored is messaging a lot on her mobile phone. One time ahe is receiving messages from somebody she does not know and all seems fine for a while. But the stranger sends more and more strange messages and things take an unexpected turn....
2. The second story is called Tit for Tat and the Thai title is Yan Sang Tai or Deadly Charm. It was directed by Paween Purikitpanya:
Tit for Tat explores the twisted turns things can take when you curse people.
3. "In the Middle" is the third story and its Thai name is Kon Klang. It was directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun.
In this story, 4 guys are on a camping trip and at night start telling themselves ghost stories....as a result they become scared and start fighting for the best or "most secure" bed spot in the tent...... but is it really the safest spot?
4. The last story is "The Last Flight" which was directed by Parkpoom Wongpoon and has the Thai title Teaw Bin 244 (Flight 244):
In ths story, Pim, a flight attendant ends up in a weird situation. On a flight she attends, the princess of Khurkistan dies from an allergic reaction to food. Afterwards, the Royal House of Khurkistan requests her to attend the flight that is supposed to bring the body back to Khurkistan. She is the only passenger allowed besides the dead body of the princess...
All 4 stories are loosely interconnected. "In the Middle" features a teenagre named "Ter", who also is mentioned in "Last Flight", where he is mentioned as the brother of Pim's colleague (who didn't attend the flight as her rother has drowned). The girl in "Happiness", who has the broken leg reads about the news of the princess of Khurkistan sons's death. Apparently the princess was in Thailand for the creamtion of her son. Lastly, in "Tit for Tat", the curse when it becomes visible, is a image of the girl from "Happiness" who died.
4bia is starring Laila Boonyasak as Pim, Maneerat Kham-uan as Pin, Pongsatorn Jongwilat as Phueak, Witawat Singlampong as Diaw and Apinya Sakuljaroensuk as Pink.
