As It Happens will be a Thai romantic comedy starring Thai stars Nataweeranuj Thong Mee (you might konow her from the movie "Shutter") and Dr. Navin Yaowapolku (he is a prof. at a Thai university). The movie will be filmed in different locations in Korea, and this is the special part, the movie will be exclusively filmed in Korea. This is a first for any Thai production.

Of course one of the main reasons to choose Korea as the filming location is the crazy hype around everything that has to do with Korean pop culture. In Thailand, Korea has left Japan alerady behind in this field. I would think myself that As It Happens will have a lot of people going to watch it when they se it was filmed in Korea.

The Korean Herald lists the locations where As It Happens will be filmed:

The film titled, "As It Happens" starring Nataweeranuj Thong Mee and Dr. Navin Yaowapolku is scheduled for a four-day shoot beginning Friday at the Seoul N-Tower, the Gonjiam Resort in Suwon, the Wawoo Temple in Gyeonggi Province, the Seven Luck Casino Seoul, the popular shopping district Myeong-dong, and on a ferry on the Han River.

...

The film's plot revolves around a romance that develops between the two leads when they have a string of chance encounters while traveling in Korea.

According to the article, Korea has been chosen from destinations such as Japan and China, the reason being the sheer popularity of Korean culture in Thailand.
